Mary Girishaa was in her early 40’s when she first realised that there was more to life than just ‘doing’ it. Reaching a crisis point in her life at that time led her to Ayurveda and Yoga and almost 20 years later these 2 Wise Women have redesigned her and her life in a way she could never have imagined.
After establishing Newcastle’s first Ayurvedic practice in 2007, Mary completed a Diploma in Satyananda Yoga in 2015. Her approach to sharing the wisdom of these two sister sciences is very practical and compassionate. Her aim is to inspire and empower people to discover their own power to create a life that is meaningful and happy.
One of the guiding principles of her first Ayurvedic teacher was integrity, “to be able to pass on this knowledge you must live it”. So whatever Mary is teaching and sharing she lives. In doing so she fully appreciates what is involved in adopting a healthier, more fulfilling way of living, while navigating life in today’s world.
